CTET Exam 2024 Date Exam Structure
All questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four options out of which one answer will be the most appropriate. Each question will carry one mark and there will be no negative marking.
CTET will have two papers
- Paper I will be for a person who wishes to become a teacher for classes I to V.
- Paper II will be for a person who wishes to become a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

CTET Exam 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The CTET exam is structured into two levels based on the teaching positions:
Primary Teacher (PRT) – Level-I: Candidates must have completed their higher secondary education (12th grade) with a Diploma in Education (D.Ed), Junior Basic Training (JBT), Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed), or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – Level-II: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree as well as a B.Ed or B.El.Ed qualification.
These eligibility criteria are set up by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), ensuring that candidates are adequately prepared for their teaching roles.
